Louise Vegar

Louise Vegar has a career spanning over 36 years at Bankwest, recently leaving her role as Chief Operating Officer at Bankwest, and moving to the parent group company, Commonwealth Bank, as General Manager, Financial Crime Risk - Chief Operations Office.

Louise enjoys the diversity of the finance industry, and has vast banking experience encompassing Operations, Contact Centre, Enterprise Services, Risk Management, Fraud, Product and Retail Branch Distribution. In her career Louise has had the opportunity to shape many business and customer experiences through leading technology teams, delivering Agile operating model across Bankwest, leading the national retail network of 131 branches with 1100 colleagues, and supporting the strategic direction of Bankwest as part of their Executive Leadership team.
Key motivators are development of her people, leadership through role-modelling and building a strong culture, and influencing the strategic direction of a business.
