Bourby Webster

Bourby Webster is a rare combination of musical talent, sporting prowess, business acumen and entrepreneurial flair. Best known as the founder of the ground-breaking Perth Symphony Orchestra in Western Australia, Bourby began her working life in London, moving to Perth in 2000. She has been in a girl-band with a record deal, has competed in the sport of rowing at an international level and won gold at Women’s Henley Regatta, completed an MBA and founded a Symphony Orchestra –that, she was told, no-one wanted or needed.In 2019 she was named Western Australian of the Year (Arts & Culture). As a professional speaker, Bourby is an inspiring and motivational force, encouraging others to challenge perceptions, realise their own potential and change their view of the world.
