Jo-Anne Ruhl is vice president and managing director of Workday Australia and New Zealand, the intelligent digital backbone for skills development and the future of work.
A proven leader, Jo-Anne applies her decades of experience running sales teams and technology organisations worldwide to inspire businesses to adopt a skills-first mindset to navigate the fragmented world of work.
Jo-Anne prides herself in helping businesses use technologies such as AI and machine learning–delivered through an agile cloud solution–to drive change across functions such as HR and finance. This means working with Chief Information Officers, Chief Financial Officers, and Chief Human Resources Officers to digitally transform finance to support modern businesses and implement skills-based human capital management.
Within Workday Australia and New Zealand, Jo-Anne is nurturing team members’ skills, including helping them upskill, identify what they do best and position them for success.
Jo-Anne is a problem-solver and is keen to build her knowledge of the industries in which Workday Australia and New Zealand customers and prospects operate. This helps her understand the challenges and opportunities these businesses face on their transformation journeys. In her downtime, Jo-Anne likes to spend time with family, support charities that work with children from disadvantaged families, and undertake creative writing projects.
