She/Her

Senior Communication Advisor

Food Standards Australia and New Zealand

Melinda’s career began with a strong foundation travelling Australia and the world as a successful wedding and event planner. When circumstances changed and her ‘dream job’ was no longer an option, Melinda transitioned into the public sector where she has excelled in media and strategic communication, relying on the art of being genuine to connect with a range of audiences for almost 10 years. Her leadership style is marked by a passion for people, evident in her dedication to helping others grow, learn, thrive and go on to become leaders themselves. From the perspective of a public servant, who never thought she’d be a public servant, Melinda wants to inspire people to connect authentically, think innovatively and make an impact no matter where they find themselves in their career.
