Delfina Shakespear is a distinguished Program and Strategic Policy Manager with over 11 years of exemplary service in the Australian Public Service (APS). She is known for her dynamic leadership and organisational skills, Delfina excels in fostering collaborative environments and driving strategic initiatives to fruition. Currently serving as Program Manager the Major Sporting Events Branch at the Office for Sport, driving the coordination the Green and Gold Decade of Major Sporting Events towards the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Delfina's expertise spans across government and sporting sectors, where she has been recognised as a subject matter expert in Strategic Policy, Program Management, Assurance and Risk Management.
Delfina is a passionate advocate for inclusion in sport both on and off the field. As the first female Vice President of the Professional Football Referees Association and Board Director for Fearless Women ACT, she champions the advancement and empowerment of women and girls.
